A little bit about me…

I’m a watercolour artist based in Wales, where the ever-changing skies, wild hedgerows and quiet beauty of nature constantly inspire me. I create watercolour landscapes and nature-inspired pieces as small glimpses of hope through colour, offering a little refuge from the grey.

Dreaming in watercolour…

My pieces are rooted in memory, emotion, and the way light lingers long after moments have passed. I experience the world, especially my memories, through colour. Where some may remember events in detail, I remember light, colour, and the feeling they left behind.

My paintings begin as dreamlike washes of colour drifting across the page before gradually finding their place through muted, earthy tones.

Nature is my guide, not as something to replicate, but as something to interpret through feeling. This is especially true in my landscapes. They are not destinations, but imagined spaces shaped by memory, light, and colour.

I know what grey feels like.

My work is a gentle refusal to stay there.

These paintings begin with my memories, but I hope they become something personal to you too. And, if they offer you a little moment of comfort, then they’ve done what I hoped they would.

Where colour feels safe enough to stay…
